Travel

Tivat (TIV) is the most convenient airport, located 15 minutes from Luštica Bay.

You can also fly into:

  • Podgorica (TGD): About 1.5 hours by car. Summer traffic can be heavy, so allow for extra travel time.
  • Dubrovnik (DBV): About 1.5 hours. This route includes a border crossing, and while June is usually manageable, there may be some queues.
Stay

We have arranged a 40% preferred rate at The Chedi Luštica Bay, as most of the weekend will take place on-site or nearby. This rate applies also to any nights you may wish to add before or after the weekend.

The events team can help you book hotel rooms, suites, or private residences.

Email events@thechedilusticabay.com mentioning the wedding.

Staying Elsewhere?

There are also many hotel and Airbnb options around Tivat. We kindly recommend checking with us before booking, so we can share a local perspective and any logistics to consider.

Explore

If you're able to extend your stay, Montenegro offers a rare mix of coastline, history, and dramatic nature within short distances. Below are some of the highlights we recommend.

Historical Sites

Kotor
A UNESCO-listed medieval town defined by its stone walls and Venetian legacy. We recommend visiting in the early morning or late afternoon to avoid the midday heat.
Perast
A refined, quiet town along the bay, perfect for a relaxed lunch and a walk by the water.
Our Lady of the Rocks
A 17th-century church on a man-made island, reached by a short boat ride from Perast.
Savina Monastery
Located near Herceg Novi, this peaceful Orthodox monastery is surrounded by greenery and overlooks the entrance to the bay.
Ostrog Monastery
An extraordinary site built directly into a vertical cliff face. It is a three-hour drive from the coast, but it is one of the most striking pilgrimage sites in the Balkans.

Dining & Shopping

Porto Montenegro
A high-end marina in Tivat with a palm-lined promenade, restaurants, and shops.
Portonovi
Another newer coastal village, good for an afternoon stroll or dinner with views back toward the Luštica peninsula.

Nature & Wilderness

Lovćen National Park
A drive up the serpentine road from Kotor leads to the Njegoš Mausoleum at the summit, offering a 360-degree view of the entire country.
Lake Skadar
A vast freshwater lake famous for its birdlife and traditional stone fishing villages like Virpazar.
Durmitor National Park
High-mountain landscapes and glacial lakes. This is in the north of the country and is best for those with at least two extra days to spare.
Tara Canyon
One of the deepest river canyons in the world, known for its dramatic scale and Đurđevića Bridge.
